Mary Ann's love of travel began as a young child when she traveled extensively throughout the United States with her family. By the time she graduated high school she had visited 49 of the 50 states, along with Russia and had solidified her passion for exploration and culture. As an undergraduate, she spent a semester studying abroad in London and a summer traveling throughout Italy and France. She also studied biology and art abroad in Baja Mexico. For the last 20 years, Mary Ann has continued exploring and sharing her love of travel. Her attention to detail and distinct eye for authentic luxury and extraordinary experiences set her apart in the travel & leisure industry. As an added bonus her extensive knowledge of food and wine give her the ability to offer complete travel experiences for her clients.
Brita Smith - travel advisor
Brita was first inspired by travel in her early teens, when she had the opportunity to spend a summer exploring Sweden with family friends. That first adventure ignited her lifelong passion for exploration and discovery through travel. During her undergrad years, Brita had the opportunity to study art history in the south of France and history in the heart of Germany. These academic pursuits not only expanded her knowledge but also laid the foundation for a unique perspective on travel planning. After two decades in the tax industry, Brita realized that her true passion lay in connecting people with transformative travel experiences. In 2023, she made the bold decision to transition her career and officially joined the Weekend Savvy Travel team. Brita's approach is defined by a blend of research, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to share the joy of travel with others.
